Domestic violence touches us all. It knows no boundaries and spans all cultural, religious, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. With nearly 3 out of 4 of Americans (71 percent) reporting they know someone who is or has been a victim of domestic violence, it’s imperative the we educate ourselves on this issue not only to assist those already in an abusive relationship, but ensure that all of us are on the path to  lead lives free from violence.

If you are a domestic violence victim and need immediate assistance, contact The National Domestic Violence Hotline, 1-800-799-SAFE.
